I know there is a difference, but not much...

between this mesh
and above, in this mesh.....
-the above image was delivered today via email in  the category of
DESIGN ALERTS.
Hmmmmmm.
And I just could not resist.
But, I prefer the original application;

'Las Chain mail are protections made with wrought-iron rings, steel, aluminum arranged so that each ring is threaded at least four other tissue forming. In Castilian also known as breastplates. As a complement to the chain mail was used to cover and protect executioner head.'

Milla Jovovich - I adore her.
She is on the right in an out-take from the movie set.
*Note; ciggies in her hand and legs crossed.
' The Messenger'.
A movie of the life and times of Joan of Arc.

You couldn't make her ugly
no matter how you might try.
And in this film....they tried.
If you want to see how gorgeous she is go here

I think my attraction to her and the characters she plays is because
I fantasize of 'kicking ass' as she does in so many movies.
She is always brave
and a hero.
Have you seen any of her films?

I love period films.
I think I may be
a hopeless romantic down really,
really, really really deep.
hahahaha

BTW....
the mesh curtain...
do you likie?
Or do you prefer the medieval chain mail?

But if you are interested in the mesh draperies/curtains a link has been provided.

  3. I agree with karena. Can you imagine pushing and pulling those things. That would be medieval!

  4. How exciting to see your name pop up on THAT list the other day!
Renee I like the mesh curtain but I don't want one for the same reason as chain mail...apart from the heaviness can you just imagine how cold it must have been against their bodies!

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
