It is so appropriate at this time of year to be reminded of such things. There is a quote that I know :
ReplyDeleteIF WE ALL THREW OUR PROBLEMS IN A PILE AND SAW EVERYONE ELSE'S, WE'D GRAB OURS BACK.
Most of us don't have a clue what some people have been through or are going through now and we should take time to reflect on this.
Many thanks, Renee for all of your wonderful posts and for your continued support over at mine. You were one of the first blogs that I found and I'm so glad that I did.
I wish you and your family many magical and happy times in the year ahead. With much love. XXXX
Happy Happy New Year! Thanks again for painting the bigger picture. Here's to peace and productivity and a chicken in every pot in 2010.

I hope all your dreams come true!! xxx Julie
What incredible things we accomplished against all odds.
ReplyDeleteI love the Ellis Island shots. My great grandparents came from Italy and had no idea what they'd find but opportunity.
Happy New Year, Renee darling, so glad you're in my life!

A very happy and harmonious new year, Renée - with lots of high notes!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Renee - those are great historical achievements on December 31st. My family all came over between 1633-1810, so no Ellis Island for me, but still fascinating to think of what they all faced.
