This Is My First 'GIVE AWAY' on Renee Finberg "Tells All' in her BLOG of her Adventures in Design
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.

I am a new follower and loving checking in daily with you. I know I won't qualify for the giveaway as I am from the UK and shipping costs would make it prohibitive, but I wish you well with your first giveaway. It is extremely generous and I cannot imagine why anyone would not want to own one of these gorgeous pieces.
ReplyDeleteVery generous indeed! :-)
Happy Halloween and have a great week.

I am now a follower of both your blogs! I cannot believe you actually have a pair of these! This is the 3rd time I have seen a pair of these shelves: 1st time I saw a pair at Bombay Company years ago but they were already sold; then I saw a pair of them used as spice racks(!) in Kirstie Allie's kitchen before Nate Berkus re-did it. I have always thought they were FABULOUS and have wanted a pair for my den. I have such a weakness for all things Chinoiserie and I think these are an exquisite representation. I would have great fun styling them! Have my fingers crossed!!!!...knowing that if I win one, I will def buy the other!!! Thank you for hosting such an incredible giveaway!! Mercy me!
ReplyDeleteyou are so very interesting. I learn alot from reading your blog...the very best of luck in your new venture.
ReplyDeleteVery nice - it would look great in so many rooms.

ReplyDeleteOh blast!!!!! Why do I live so far away from one of my very favourite talented people?!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe very least I could have done is stay away until your Very First Give-away was over and then I would not be going to bed dreaming about how I could fit it in here!!!! Love and hugs xxx Jules
PS But just so you know you one of the first blogs I started following and wasn't that a blessing my dear, dear friend! xxx

My dearest Renee - your blog is looking fabulous, your new blog is fabulous, and of course you are fabulous. I've missed much of what's been happening but I hope to get up to snuff here fast. This giveaway is wonderful. WHO doesn't adore a piece of Chinoiserie charm in their room? This wee shelf you could us in so many ways and in so many various rooms. Why would I love it? One frank answer - my flat looks like the bottom of a birdcage. Not one charming, adorable, classy item in it, except my dog & husband! Love you Renee Finberg!!
ReplyDeleteHi Renee! I'm already a fan (follower) of both of your blogs. I hope this doesn't disqualify me from entering your give-away! I incorporate Asian pieces into our decor since I inherited several pieces from my grandparents who lived there in the 20's. This elegant shelf would be perfect holding some of my smalls. Keeping my fingers crossed.....Cathie (parnele@comcast.net)
