Ms. Scarborough's shop has the things I am always looking for to accessorize with.
Ellen Ward Scarborough has fun , whimsy , and classic style in her work.
And any room that feels like it could be a movie set to me is a success. To me that means that the room is projecting a feeling, and atmosphere, and often an escape from the world outside.
And in this image I feel as though I am back in the 1930's or 40's. I can see Lucy & Ethel hanging out in this kitchen. Scheming.
Some of her rooms I like, some are a bit over the top for me. I like her ideas, though - especially the "awning ceiling" Interesting!
