About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
Private Paradise

I do not have a great bench, but I wish I did, along with a great entry hall to go with it! I actually love that first image you featured - those green walls are fabulous! And, the bed in the final photo is great fun. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the green wall...every space should have a bench, adds a little touch in the design, and is incredibly practical.
ReplyDeleteSure wish you could find us a new bench to sell at my shop! They discontinued the one that we sold the heck out of! It looked similar to the bentwood bench you showed! They were all pretty but we really need to find one like that! People loved it because we left it outside and all of the husband's could sit and rest while the wives shopped! And…we always sold them! Wonder why they discounted such a great seller?
ReplyDeletei found something you may like

Benches are a weakness of mine justified by the fact that they are useful anywhere & everywhere! THAT green wall!!!! Love it and thanks for saving that little gem as the best for last! A beautiful post by a beautiful lady.

Renee I do have an X Bench from Serena and Lily I love. The long upholstered bench I gave to a dear friend, because it just would not fit anywhere!
ReplyDeleteAdore the first image and that work of art!! The third image up...gorgeous bench and that peacock color is in my entry and study!

I love a good bench too Renee. Whether it's the end of bed, or as a coffee table, or in an entry way. Thinking of you more than you know. I know so many going through tough times. I wish it were 2006 when life seemed to hold more promise. Sending you a hug from rainy..windy Aberdeen. xxx
ReplyDeletePROMISE...HAHA
Deletei love you but that is when the toilet started the 1st flush for me.

I am always on the look-out for a Bentwood rocker and now I have added a bench to the list. What a beauty that one is !
ReplyDeleteI do like window seats, especially in a kitchen, a cozy place to curl up and read while waiting for the cookies to be done :)
