You tell it like it is and are not afraid. you educate us. and you love beautiful things. we need to stick together us blog woman for our own better world. this is where it’s at. I’m about to turn 59 and I’m so over the goverment and what is happening to us. thanks for pointing this out. Know of any solutions?? more masterpiece theatre and less tv watching to poison our minds and think we need alot of persciption drugs that seem to dominate the commericals. Thank you again. Cynthia

Darling, after tomorrow all your lucite troubles will be over!
Boy was your mom something! I can so see her in that necklace. As far as politics, we could solve so many problems if we forced companies like GE and EXXON to pay taxes but instead they just force us to buy their stuff, tax it, then tax us again!
Why don't we hold them accountable?

  14. Renee, you are so right about that necklace against a white dress. Gorgeous!! It reminds me of a strand of black diamonds (yes, it was insanely gorgeous) I was see at my jewelers. I went in to have my rings cleaned and he let me try it on. The fire in those diamonds was amazing. Alas, black diamonds aren't in my budget.

And thanks for the sweet comments you left on my blog about my daughter. I know, with those long lashes, she'll never need to buy mascara!

  15. Dear Renee,
I'm afraid that the necklace pales into insignificance after seeing the picture of your mum.
She looks exquisite and, I know that she is looking just as beautiful in her more mature years.
She is a stunner and you obviously take after her..... the necklace is pretty good too !! XXXX
