Weatherend Estate Furniture in Rockland Maine

MADE IN THE U.S.A.
I am proud to say!!!

I have shared many times when I have fallen in love with a chair.
Well,
Check this outstanding beauty out!!

The finishes are amazing.
There are so many including woods of Teak & Mahogany,
done in the rich natural tones that these to wood varieties provide,
BUT
also in that warmed weathered finish.
Yes-
You can get your Weatherend Estate Furniture
already divinely weathered.

The weathered example done by Weatherend Estate Furniture on the premises
in Rockland Maine - U.S.A.

Below I have given you a sneak peak at some of the benches and settees that are made by
Weathend Estate Furniture.
Everything can be made CUSTOM.
Now....
 boys and girls....
We Love CUSTOM.
Don't we??

I just love this Weatherend Estate Furniture stacking table.

Check out the custom option below.
YOU MUST GO TO THE SITE AND TRY THIS OUT!!!

You have probably already sat on something
made by Weatherend Estate Furniture.
Their products are at these Resorts.

There are hundreds of other installations at Colleges and
Corporations of all sorts.

The Weatherend bench above is custom.
If you go to the site (bottom of the post) and snoop around you will see that
there is a CONTEST running
for an additional design to be added to their already witty collection.

They even make these Umbrella Gazebo Rooms.
Don't you just love?
I do.
I need one.

Happy New Years Day

New years Day is the day my father died in 2001.
I can remember him and be sad or I can think of him in all his
'Fabulous-ness.'
And he was.
He loved thoroughbred horses.

He bet them and he bred them.
Did you know that January 1st is EVERY thoroughbreds birthday?
Even if they were born on December 31st.
The next day....
they are 1 year old.

My dad loved golf ....
some of my best times with him were driving the golf cart
around the course alone with him.

Yes, that's me.
6 months pregnant.

My Dad driving his boat with my little daughter by his side.

My Dad and the back of my head at our favorite restaurant
in Ogunquit Maine... ARROWS.

He loved deep sea fishing.....I always got sea sick.

This New Year ....
if you have something keeping you from a loved one....
how important is it....really?
Make an amends.
It is so easy to do, and the rewards are great.
We never know when our number is up.
My Dad was only 73 years old.

Be wise like the Buddha...
and then you will be happier.
I know my memories of my Dad are.

Love to my friends,
Renee xox

..Gone So Long

... I've been gone so long it seems...

I really have been gone so long it seems to me.
I have been getting settled in mind and body…
Not to mention putting all my favorite things
{the only things I took with me}
in the right places.
I am happy with how my room came out.

If my camera didn't just stop working ….
I would be posting pictures.

And my little girl {Shih Tzu} Josephine
is now settled in as well. The cold weather is definitely a shock for her.
We were both a bit shaky when we got here….
…but all is getting better.
This is my 1st Thanksgiving and Christmas without my daughter {24 yrs old}
and I know now it won’t be my last.

So I
‘I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in.’
with all of you.

There is just so much to do here around the house with my Mom.
I could do a whole post on just ‘THE HUNTING’ for the perfect wreathes.
…and of course…she has to have them on everything!
Mom is a Christmas maniac, perhaps when the holidays are over and
we all get even more settled I will feel normal.
But then, normal is highly over rated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ !!!!!!
I need to get back to posting, and I will.
I can say I am sort of lost without it.
Blogging for me is like taking my temperature
....and taking yours.
You are my friends and I am feeling like an awful friend
not being there for you and your blogs.
Please forgive me. XXXX's
TOO MUCH ON MY PLATE
It seems there are just too many complications ;
THE BANK selling my property in Boca Raton - Bad Bad Bad People
THE MOVERS- my things are still not here, and it will cost more than estimated
and A JOB search in a town of 7000 population off season......
....just getting settled in general is exciting - YES -
but overwhelming.
Everyday there is another fire to put out with the lawyers & the bank over the closing.
I am not a happy camper right now.
But
Tomorrow, Tomorrow will bring a better day.
It is so beautiful here, and cold,
but I love the cold don't I ???????
Once my things come I will be able to post pictures from my camera.
I hope this post finds all my friends well and happy.
hugs xoxo
Maine VS Florida
Well,
I am here.
No more complaining
about the humid sweaty Florida weather!!!!
It is dropping to 20 degrees F. tomorrow night.
:)      :(
I have been car shopping,
*job hunting
*getting my little dog Josephine adjusted
*getting myself adjusted
*painted my room
*trying not to eat all the uber fattening food my Mom makes
*drivers license
BLAH BLAH BLAH
It never ends....
and the movers haven't even arrived yet.
That will be a stressful {OMG} day!!!
Please have patients with me.....
I am emotionally exhausted and can not bring myself to blog right now.
...I need to get back to commenting .....
but
I am always so tired.
I send you love and thank you
for your emotional support
through these difficult times.
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
