Maine VS Florida
Renee Finberg 'TELLS ALL' in her Blog of her Adventures in Design,Boca Raton and Camden Maine, All Interior Design Services, maine vs florida
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.

Holy cow Renee. I have missed your last 3 posts. What the f--k have I been doing! I like your spunk, you would have flown through the fog yourself. After all, what's all that instrumentation for if not to tell you where you are? I am so happy you have finally arrived. Now it's time to take a comfy seat, take a deep breath and some introspection. Buy yourself a mediation tape, sort your shit out and get on with the rest of your happy life. This is gonna be great! It's where you are supposed to be. Bah, Florida schmorida, who needs ya!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what comes next :-)

We'll be here when you get back, gurl!
ReplyDeleteYou are on overload, it's no wonder you're tired, Renee. Take a few days off, enjoy time with your mom and anyway you can't go out in 20 degree weather can you? Take care of both of you + the doggie. Love....
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are there and safely
ReplyDeleteI am here...sort of!!!!!
Love you and will talk soon xxx Jules
Best of luck to you - exciting times! Go buy yourself a fabulous new coat!
ReplyDeleteRenee just put one foot in front of another and as they say, repeat. You will get through your list; which will feel very gratifying. Then do treat yourself to Maine accessories, a wonderful throw, new gloves, a fab scented candle, etc.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with all of your endeavors! It will turn out so well for you, Renee!
ReplyDeleteOur darling girl - just hang in there! In a few short months, all this horrible unsettlingness will just be a blur - and as Karen says, one foot in front of the other for now. The dancing feet can come later. xx
ReplyDeleteNever get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life. Start your new life prudent step by step and don't forget the pretty little things around you. All the best
ReplyDeleteLove you friend, take your time, and take care of your business! Best of luck in the transition and stay warm and don't forget to pamper yourself.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been following your blog and "witnessed" many of your ups and downs. First with the challenges of your retail employer, next as you set out on your own and then the disappointment when you had to shutter your doors and finally as you made the difficult and brave decision to start fresh by moving to Maine.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate your honesty and candor and you inspire me with your courage and perseverance.
I just thought you might like to know.
Always here for you Renee. It's not easy but you can't say it's boring. I think you deserve a months nap and never getting up. Love you & thinking nothing but good things for you. xOx

Aw, bless your heart! Moving is one of life's toughest challenges. My heart goes out to you and I am sending love & prayers your way. Stay warm and get rest!
ReplyDeleteRenee,
ReplyDeleteAll will be fine just one step at a time and at a slower pace for these days and weeks ahead...this is the best for all of you. It will all work out you've left so much in such a short time span allow yourself to catch up with the pace nature dictates for you. It is a month of Thanksgiving!
Hugs to you and Mom
