Thinking About Blue

I was thinking.....

I have a new job coming up and they want to use 'blues.'

I don't do much blue.

...so this is me doing some research.

I have always enjoyed blue and green.

It is nature, and I like taking my cues from nature.

How can you go wrong?

Then there is blue & grey.

It is cool and sophisticated.

Is this not gorgeous?

Then there are multi-colored garden floral fabrics

 that I can find and be inspired by if need be.

Some do purple and blue.

How about you?

Cobalt Blue.

Soft blues, beiges and tans.

Blue and coral or orange.

The old stand by;

Blue & White.

I did a home in Nantucket that was blue, cream and red, 

with a teensy tiny bit of charcoal grey.

Strong blues coupled with strong reds.

It was fabulous.

The color combo was taken from a Jacobean fabric 

I found at F.S. Schumacher.

We can always do yellow and blue.

A classique!!!

Which BLUE is you?

I have made my mind up....

it's going to be the blues, and the red tomato bisque.

A Virtual Vacation For Me

I have wanted to go to this inn forever.

It is called the Dunraven Arms Inn, 

located in the village of Adare Ireland.

Adare Ireland was voted the most beautiful village in Ireland.

Grace Kelly spent her honeymoon here.

This is an example of one of the rooms. 

And my favorite part is that after your day of riding,

you leave your dirty boots outside your room 

and in the morning they are returned all clean and polished..

The Inns pub is the hot spot for the 'HUNTING CROWD.'

Of which I have always wanted to be a part of.

I spent a good tens years in the attire.

hehehehe

Fear not.....this is a huge 'go to play golf'  vacation as well.

You can bring the hubby, he can golf while the ladies go riding.

The pub has a piano bar!!!!

I can only imagine the men and woman who frequent this inn.

I have always wanted to be a (go back in) time traveler. 

This would be heaven on earth to me.

Today was my most difficult day.....

since I started working at this company.
I must have been paged 20 times at least by the office.
One of my clients kept calling and was driving me nutzo.
No matter what I said she kept asking me the same question 20 different ways.
My answer was always the same.
I hate it when people don't HEAR you.
I wanted to reach into the phone and .....@FF&XX`0f
.....my head almost exploded.
At one point
I was so overwhelmed by the customer service issues
that I almost went home sick.
I sure felt sick.
Sick in the head.
I am so incredibly glad that the day is over!

By 2 hours into my work day I felt
just like that pug looks !!!

the black door and trim in this room!!!

It is dramatic and elegant.

I want to do it.

And do it soon.

The India Connection

I had all but given up hope
on the design job in India.
But....I just heard from the India Connection
and things are moving along.
They have finally received
the financing that they needed to start the project.

And as far as my posting goes...
I will be back on track this week.
My regular schedule will resume
and I will be able to get back to posting.

I am recovering from retail burn-out.
