'INDUSTRIAL INTERIORS' Can Be Fabulous

A
I am a freak for exposed brick walls.
Although...I always paint them white.
It's weird....I don't know what it is.
I just love white painted brick.
Look at the floors....
they are just filled concrete floors.

C
The thing I like about this one is the ceiling.
Not much else.

E { 1 & 2 }
I love the lighting in the dining space.

F
Cool space...only I don't care for the French Provincial on the right...YUCK

G
Very industrial - dig it.
Especially the book case.
You just know it is cheap.

H
Love the 'TIN' {hahahaha} dining chairs.
No.
Really.
And the brick,
and the ceiling lighting treatment.

I
What's not to love?

J
Of course....very practical.

In this post...
you will find;
industrial design, industrial living rooms,
 industrial kitchens, industrial bathrooms,
and industrial office space.

I am curious.....
Do YOU have a favorite space
or do you totally dislike industrial interior design concepts?

the spaces have a letter UNDER each post...
you can use that for a reference while critiquing.

....if you want to....
OR NOT.

I happen to totally love the look.....
I think it brings me back to my youth in the City..

  1. Love the look. I'm calling my kitchen redo: my very own personal industrial revolution. It will be all about the tools of cooking.

  3. I like some industrial architecture and interiors, mostly with part concrete OR exposed ceilings, not both. But I love the brick and wood elements.
Have a good weekend, and keep smiling your beautiful smile.

  4. No matter how I try to look away..I am lover of industrial. Not sure why it fascinates me so, but it does. I think it appeals to the bad girl, biker, nerd, history buff aesthetic..lol! I like it best in moderation, but my fav has to be H. I'm thinking Rue Gaston Darboux (18th Arrondissement), back ally..chic French bolt-hole! Care to join me for a French adventure, we'll grab Renae, Lisa and the gang and go!!?

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
