Wing Nutz

I don't know about you..... but,
I think doing the same thing over and over -
expecting different results
is called insanity.

The previous 10 years of tax cuts for the richest in this country
did nothing except develop China's workforce.

but.....back to the beloved wing chair.....
a great wing chair can balance the weight of a room
as well as had some OOmff or character.

XXXX's
off to work I go.
...in case  you might be wondering
the weather is hot and humid.
I HATE IT.

  3. Renee, You know me, I like the low antique wing chair. The real good ones have a sway or dip in the back and just perfect cuddle wings. I love a chair that you can look at the side and see it conform to the body.
The new trash doesn't have that character.. Plus, it's all made with compress wood. That ole brown one is the best. Mamma

  4. I had always thought of those wing backs as pretentious and unnecessary but, now as it gets oddly chilly in Los Angeles, I realize how close my fireplace stands to the front door.

Protection and privacy, is what that same old wing back sees from me now.

    Cheers!

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.

Private Paradise
