This Place Was A Real Find!

While snooping around the Miami Herald Newspaper
I found an article that mentioned a shop in Chicago called Jayson Home & Garden.
These fixtures are part of the lighting collection.

So, I popped over.....
and found many treasures
of which this little box was just one of many.

I found some amazing accessories,
furniture, textiles, and fabulous flea market finds.

I have selected a few things that I would buy.
One is this scale....they make the greatest centerpieces.
Fill with fruit, flowers, or whatever else you might like to display.
Done.
It looks great.

*Opera Hats
I LOVE hats...
so these were a 'no brainer.'

Then I found this little porcelain item as well......
huh?
did I miss a whole new design trend???
Siamese Twins?
Do you remember these twins??

  1. Good morning. Please don't show links to sites that carry my kind of merchandise. I am trying to refinance my house. Must not shop. Seriously, that's what the bank says.

but, oh how I love those lights.

  2. I second what the second commenter said. ( :

Jayson Home is all good. I'm the gal that like the quirky (explains first husband) and admires industrial chic. All that clever stuff just gets the creative wheels turning. As for the Siamese twins, so remember that photo. Maybe we were Siamese twins once?

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
