Wall Mounted Desk

Wall Mounted Desk

The concept is great.
Imagine the possibilities.

I saw this and thought.....
how incredibly handy.
A small wall mounted desk that folds up into almost nothing.

The applications are really endless.

What do you think?

springtime, spring colors, spring fabrics & red ticking

I am looking out my window....a fresh foot of snow is staring back at me!!

And every day I keep saying
SPRING IS HERE!!!!

In keeping with spring design trends....
here is a bit of inspiration.

The colors and the fabrics at the bottom remind me of summer time.
And a casual one at that!

In addition,
the fabs remind me of my friend Pam at shop Red Ticking.

Temporary Masqerade

I have really been through it.
This has been a living breathing Masquerade.

Masqerade;
to disguise oneself; also : to go about disguised

I am a bit afraid to be me.
This is MAINE.
REAL MAINE.

I love my new town but this business of finding my fit.
Just the right fit for myself has been daunting.

It was just last week that I finally found
'it' in me to start to print up new biz cards,
design some ads, get my tax #,
and finally look forward to what ever this new
phase of my life will be.
I know that whatever will be
will not look or feel the same.
That's what I wanted....
but doing this great big 'THING' is scary.

It is certain that I have a great foundation of
friends and family.

It is different for sure,
but
and I hated where I was.
Right?

xx,s

....sorry that I have been M.I.A.
-this has proved to be hard stuff-
I have barely been present for myself.

Now You Know Why I Want SPRING....

This is the main hwy on the way to town.
It is 2 lanes
and I can't see them.
NO VISIBLE YELLOW LINE.
HELP!!!

This is my first time driving in the snow.
Help!

This is heading home and it is NO BETTER.
People were sliding all over the place.

Home Sweet Home.
This is the driveway to Mom's House.

There is a salt water cove straight behind the gazebo and back yard.

My gorgeous aluminum furniture is buried under the wisteria covered gazebo.

This is the actual ' La Petite Gallery' of
http://lapetitegallery.blogspot.com/
fame.

Home at last.
And I made it without running off the road.
It helps that my eye balls are bugged out of my head, and
I am gripping the steering wheel so hard that there is no blood in the tips of my fingers.
And to the locals dismay............
I am driving a top speed of 30 miles per hour.
But I made it home safe.

I Need SPRING

I simply can't wait for the FORSYTHIA.

Forsythia bushes made into a staggered hedge.
How absolutely fabulous!

I have almost always used Forsythia in my jobs.
I like the long sprigs in a tall clear glass cylinder set in false water/clear resin.

Elegance in Nature.
Love it.

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
