My Showroom ....and How It Looks Right Now

The front window.

Just behind the front window,
you can see my glass office, and my custom sofa
35" d x 128 x 112

Now, I am posting these images because my mother would not let up on me
until I did.

looking at the from from my desk where I am usually blogging
or designing.
Thank G-d for blogging.

The view from my glass office.

Things will be constantly changing....let's hope.
That is what I want anyway!

Tuesday is MY MONDAY at 'THE TRADE'.....

I need to start off my week with happy images as well as good thoughts.

It's the craziest thing.....
When ever
I am doubting if there is anybody up there.....
listening to my prayers....

I only have to look at the sweet creatures that I know
only 'he'
could have dream't up,
and given to us.

Don't you agree??

F.S. Schumacher & Martyn Lawrence Bullard

Martyn Lawrence Bullard now has a line of fabrics @ F.S.Schumacher.
Impressive.

* Very nice touch adding corbels at the ends of the beams.

Fabulous.

These are just some of his fabrics.
It is no wonder F.S. Schumacher jumped on his band wagon.

Young - Hip - Exotic
No???

Some of us are really into the barn door thing.
These just knock your socks off!!
Right?

I love and admire designers who can really combine patterned fabrics.
It is an ART!!!!

Is he adorable or what????

Below I have Martyn Lawrence Bullard's link,
as well as a wonderful article written about him in the NYT.

Venice Carnevale Photo Gallery

If only I could wear a mask at this ball in Venice.

Does this look like fun to you?
The costumes are elaborate and all 18th Century.
BTW
my favorite century.

Ahhhhhhh.....
If only I could time travel!!!

The Winged Lion of St. Mark

This yearly ball in Venice
would be the closest I will ever come to actual time travel.

Just imagine the fine memories this young girl
will have of this special evening!!!

If given the opportunity
would YOU go to
The Tiepolo Ball in Venice?

I wouldn't miss out
on that glorious opportunity.
NO WAY!!

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.

Private Paradise
