Saturday On My Way To ' The Trade '

I must say....
I have had less aggravating mornings.

I am dealing with some unpleasant situations at the showroom.
One of which
was the alarm was set off at 10am Saturday morning.
Just two minutes before I arrived....
.....the police & the sirens.

I am AWAKE NOW!!!
Good morning world!!!!

Why is it do you think
that some individuals can not
or will not cooperate with simple requests?
I told them that the alarm had been changed
and I would be there at 10am to open the store.

It makes me wonder.....

  1. I go into panic mode when it comes to setting yo the alarm, and for this reason hates to open or close the Showroom on my own. I have set it off numerous times, goes into blank mode as to my code number. I should also mention that working late into the night, I realize that...I do not have the showroom keys and none of my employees (including myself) live near the store...
    Have a fabulous monday morning.

    hmmmm this situation was deliberate.
you should just get s atudio with an alcove at the 'picasso'. it's right next door.
use it as an office/guest house/rental/crash pad/nap room.

    my very first apartment was in the 'picasso' 210 e 58th. i think they still have the same doormen;
    jimmy and emanuel.

xxx when you come down don't forget to contact me.
i would love to meet. xxx

  3. I have two teenagers who seem incapable of following rules or directions-- so I feel your frustration.

  4. That is the most horrible thing. I have just had an alarm put in the house and yesterday morning completely forgot about it and danced into one of the rooms in sleep mode!!! Think I woke the entire neighbourhood before I could remember the code!!!!! I'm sorry you think it was deliberate how sad. hugs xx

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
