A Paris Home That Is Hidden In Plain Sight

Is this door amazing or what???
It the 5 years to get the building permit for this unusual home.

It is covered with ferns that are specially fed.

Say you have just robbed a museum,
or pulled off the Great Train Robbery.

Wouldn't this be a great place to lay low
 while hiding in plain sight?

Can you believe this was built in 2008?
What took so long for it to hit the 'Times'?

Read NYT article here. It's short.

Saturday On My Way To ' The Trade '

I must say....
I have had less aggravating mornings.

I am dealing with some unpleasant situations at the showroom.
One of which
was the alarm was set off at 10am Saturday morning.
Just two minutes before I arrived....
.....the police & the sirens.

I am AWAKE NOW!!!
Good morning world!!!!

Why is it do you think
that some individuals can not
or will not cooperate with simple requests?
I told them that the alarm had been changed
and I would be there at 10am to open the store.

It makes me wonder.....

Before BLACK FRIDAY Ever Starts......

Santa is enrolled in school like a good Santa.

When I lived in NYC I always wondered who they were?
Where did they come from?

Getting ready to hit the streets.

And back at Santa's factory they have
Santa manning the phone lines for all the little girls and boys.

Phony Phone Calls from SANTA?
No Way!!!
although some Santa's ARE scary.

I love this Santa Phone Call.
It looks to me that Santa received her letter
and she just may hit 'PAY DIRT'!!

I love these images.
HEY!!!!
I never got to speak to him!!
What's up with that????

DID SANTA CALL YOU???

It this not the reason for the season?

happy shopping my loves xxx

1}

I am a child of divorce....like 50% of the rest of this nation,
and so is my daughter.
I don't like it ....but sometimes it is the lesser of two evils.

2}
I believe strongly in G-d.
When my back is against the wall,
And lately that seems to be an everyday occurance
I depend on him.
When I don't know what to pray for;
I simply ask him to 'STAY WITH ME.'
....He does.

3}
Interior Design is the one and only area in my life
that I am completely sure of my choices and decisions.
Everywhere else in my day to day dealings....
I am a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.
hence; the 'loner artist evolves.'

4}
I am a loyal friend.
I do not take on many
but those that I do consider to be friends
KNOW they can count on me.

5}
My favorite color combinations are;
black , creamy white and emerald green.
black, creamy white, chinese red and tan/taupe/camel
creamy white, chocolate brown and black with a touch of copper
Charcoal grey , creamy white, yellow, and pale lavender - in a plaid
I think you know i could go on and on.....

6]
Blogging has saved me.

Iconic Hollywood Regency Commodes

  Iconic Hollywood Regency Commodes

I am madly in love.
I want them.....in black or darkest walnut with the same gold accents.
They are JUST too fabulous!!!

The white is nice
and certainly better for Florida or California.

But darkest walnut would look so incredibly rich.

What do you think????

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
