False Pride

False Pride & This Fish Out Of Her Water

“Learning to live on less pride has been a great investment in my future.”
Katerina Stoykova Klemer

I started out part-time and am now working full time!!
~~~~~~~
Ever since I arrived in Maine, I have tried to fit in.
(and I am beginning to)
I wasn't sure about how to find my niche in design up here,
so...
I came to the conclusion that I should understand the area
and the people first.
Only then will
'MORE BE REVEALED TO ME.'
and ...
It's coming .... slowly.
But, it is coming.
I am enjoying the ride.
(wasn't sure if I would)
Boy,
I never thought I would be working where I am working now.
.......
Orange is my new Black.
I am still struggling with blogging,
I am rediscovering myself...who will I be here?
and blogging topics are going to be really different.
Like there is the coolest coastal shack on an island that I want to post
but
It's just so different than what I used to post about.
It will,
it will come to me
and I will begin posting as frequently as I used to post.
all my BEST
Catchpole & Rye .... Tubs, Showers, Fittings, and Pull Chain Toilets To Die For
Catchpole & Rye
Not for me
but
maybe I could take a bubble bath in this tub.
Could you?
http://luxurylifedesign.blogspot.com/2013/04/catchpole-and-ryes-swarovski-encrusted.html
Each crystal is applied by hand
with a price tag of  about 200 plus thousand.
But wait,
there's more......
I don't know about you but I adore pedestal sinks.
I found the prettiest of everything at Catchpole & Rye.
I love bath tubs that have wall mounted fittings
and that are mounted in the middle of the tub rather than on one end.
It's impossible to share a bath with the faucet on one end.
Right?
There were several watering holes
that I frequented in NYC that had pull chain toilets.
The last time I visited one of these places....
they were still there.
I just think that they are cool,
in a 'time traveling'  kind of way.
I thought this water tank was super clever,
and to the point
I have always loved wall mounted faucets.
Have you ever noticed that all the gunk gathers
 around the base of you faucet?
Have your next faucet wall mounted
rather that in the counter top
and you will eliminate the gunk problem.
Check out the Catchpole & Rye below.
Have a great weekend.
I will be around to visit.
Hugs & xxs
MR STEAM'S SEXY STEAM SHOWERS
 I have thoroughly enjoyed steam baths.
When living in NYC I belonged to a health club and took a steam
3 times a week for my chronic bronchitis.
It worked.
And in addition to my lungs,
my skin improved,
I lost weight, because it increased my metabolism,
(I was only 25 and probably had a great metabolism)
I was detoxified from my long and late hours spent in the discos,
including my dancing whip-lashes were cured with just one 20 minute steam.
(hehehehe)
 ,
A Residential Steam Shower.
I really would love to have a steam bath/shower at home.
Who wouldn't?
Especially if he is included in the steam shower package.
Most of these images are from the Mr. Steam website.
...While you are viewing these images and videos
you are listening to Brazilian sambas.
What could be sexier than that?
The above image is from a collection of images in Houzz that feature steam showers.
You feel so amazing after a nice steam and a cool shower.
You feel incredibly clean
and SOFT,
not dried out.
I love the ceiling in this shower.
Not the blue but the style of it.
Similar to a barrel vaulted ceiling.
I don't know about you
but
I no longer play all night at the discos-
My body hurts
worse now than it did after a crazy night of dancing so hard
that I gave myself a whip-lash.
I would LOVE to have 'a good steam' at home!!!
Would you like to have a steam shower at home?
