Three Places I Would Rather Be Today

With My Sore Feet.

Later this morning, around 9:30 am I will be at work.
We are having a crazy sale. The company I work for has blasted the air-ways.
And I expect to be very busy all day.
BUT, I would rather be........

Right HERE! * do you think if I soaked my feet in a giant martini they would feel better?
(The Langham Hotel in London - above)
(I think this Pagoda styled bar is so glamorous. To me, Pagoda is classic)
Or HERE. * I know my soul would be better in Paris.
And definitely HERE!!
*Actually, this would be easy to pull off, if only I could find the time.

Sorry for so few of posts, I still am getting settled in at the new job.
It is 60 thousand square feet of merchandise to learn.....
I miss everyone.

  1. That Paris shot..., it's how I dined in Wilmington, NC in the historic district, in a restaurant that had private balconies. I hope you can still do some of the things after work!

  2. Oh my goodness, my wedding reception was held at The Langham in London.....that bar has been decorated like that since we were there - it's fabulous, I must visit!

Good luck at work today :)

  3. Wow that much space - should I keep reading to see where you are? And I would rather be in those images as well!

  4. You perfectly bloom where ever you are.

  5. Good idea Renee,
When the sale is over Bottoms Up!!!!!
    Have a good Sunday,

  6. I know how you feel... that I have VIRTUALLY ran off to Paris AGAIN!!!
Good to know I may run into YOU!!!
    Bon week-end!

  7. Thinking of you and your tired feet! (yes, pagoda-a classic) Now, let's daydream of a drink and foot massage in Paris!

  8. Missing you too, but understand that large retail spaces come first at the moment. Meet you in the Pagoda Bar when all this is finished!
    Millie ^_^

  9. I'd say soak you feet in Epson salt water and drink as many giant martinis required for the feet not to feel anything!

  10. oh i know what a sale day can be like...i hope you find somewhere to rest those weary feet after a busy day...

  11. Oh, just put me in any one of those pictures and I'd be happy...hope your feet stand up to the long day...lots of love. XXXX

  12. Good luck over the weekend Renee, xv.

  13. hi Renee, hope its all well with you...i missed you, i havent been around lately.
hope to see you back here soon.
    have a great day.

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.

Private Paradise
