I Could Live Here
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
Private Paradise

I'd be happy to live there except for two small issues, the bigger one being that Thomas O'Brien already lives there, and he's announced on more than one occasion that he'll never move again. A few years back, Mrs Blandings kindly invited me to join her & TOB for dinner here in Chicago, and he turned out to be a really nice guy, so I'd hate to inconvenience him in any way, even though I really love his place.
ReplyDeleteTotally apart from that, though, I agree with him about the no-moving-again thing, so I won't be going anywhere, not even to move into a place as handsome as his is. I'm sure that must be a big relief to him.
Have a great weekend, Renee.
Great space...love the height, so dramatic! I would have to remove some of the "clutter" because thats just me...but its a great space for sure. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh my, the light.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine it with full moon light?
Have a great weekend.
XO T
Ok, I'll move in with you, but I'm warning you, I'm not doing windows...!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. It looks a lot like the apartment we had in Portland Oregon. One of those loft places with 200 ft high ceilings .. yes, I exaggerate.
ReplyDeleteAnd walls of windows .. I saw spectacular sunsets and Whole Foods, what more could you ask for ? :)
I am sure I would be able to create beautiful designs here. Space for creative mind.
