A Typical Palm Beach Lanai
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
Private Paradise

ReplyDeleteWhilst you are awaiting the heat, today, I am rugged up in all my woolies and am , only just, resisting the temptation to light our first fire of the season!!!!!
Very pretty photos xx Jules
What time should I be over? Looks so lush and inviting...love it. I think those lanais are truly picture perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteThat makes me think of our yellow awning by the pool with those white wooden tassels, remember?
ReplyDeleteHave a happy Sunday , Mamma xxxxx
When I think of Palm Beach this is what I imagine. Truly is the ultimate way to enjoy living outside. Coming from Seattle, I enjoy being able to have a grand outdoor room in a big way. The end of the outdoor season is right, once the heat hits here too, it's indoors we go. Today it's pushing 90* and last night was a reminder of those humid/hot sleepless nights. Oh joy!
ReplyDeleteRenee hope you have a good Sunday me dear? Love ya x
What's not to love...I even love saying the word La...nye....
ReplyDeleteI'll take the lamps/cute drum table with the shell collection/fabulous dining chairs/...and my favorite...the dining table..I'll even pay for shipping...our season starts in a couple of weeks....
Hope yesterday went well....k
Pass the Mimosas please!!
ReplyDeleteJeanne ;)
*sigh* If only winter would loosen its grip on DC. Those are so very inviting!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so exotic! So strange that you're thinking of going inside because of the heat, and here, up in the Great White North, we're looking forward to going outside because of the heat!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly don't have to ask me twice!
ReplyDeleteOk, I take the NeXT flight :))
ReplyDeletelovely place to bee..
Don't like the sofa tables so matchy-watchy.
ReplyDeleteOf course I'm picky, it's my job.
If they are rescued, fine. Chosen with real money, not so fine.
Plantings at the Lanai? Fabulous.
Garden & Be Well, XO Tara
