Wing Nutz
About Renée Finberg
I have been in this business since the age of 22.
I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.
Design Challenges are great.
And because of those challenges
I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,
Designed and Manufactured Furniture,
Created Fantastic Window Treatments,
And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues
With my unique style.
If I can't find it, I create it.
My rooms would make excellent movie sets.
I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.
Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.
Just Great Design.
Just imagine how it would be if each of us,
If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be
Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,
The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
Private Paradise

come on up to sunny seattle... yes, and wearing a down jacket...
ReplyDeletelove the wing.... always... xx
Renee, You know me, I like the low antique wing chair. The real good ones have a sway or dip in the back and just perfect cuddle wings. I love a chair that you can look at the side and see it conform to the body.
ReplyDeleteThe new trash doesn't have that character.. Plus, it's all made with compress wood. That ole brown one is the best. Mamma
I had always thought of those wing backs as pretentious and unnecessary but, now as it gets oddly chilly in Los Angeles, I realize how close my fireplace stands to the front door.
ReplyDeleteProtection and privacy, is what that same old wing back sees from me now.
Cheers!
Oh Renee,
ReplyDeleteCome over to the UK....the whole country is covered in snow and we are experiencing arctic conditions and temperatures but, it is so pretty and has put me in the Christmas mood !!
I love a winged chair. I have one Bergere winged chair with knotted arms but would like more.
Keep cool Renee and spare a thought for us freezing our butts off !!!! XXXX
It's wet again today and the temperatures have dropped I have almost forgotten what the sun looks like! I will take a good book and curl up in my wing back chair and relax for the day...but wouldn't mind having the red leather one you have there!!!
ReplyDeleteFunny and oh so true...on both counts!
ReplyDeleteLove wing chairs; the nuts not so much.
ReplyDeleteYou said it sister.......K
ReplyDeleteGreat chairs Renee.. another for my someday list!! the red one looks great...not really a red person.. but it just looks so fresh!!
ReplyDeleteWell it's strange weather here.. 30c and sunny last week and 20c and raining this... usually is a heatwave for christmas though. I'd really love to see a white christmas one day!!
Have a great day.. ciao xxx Julie
