Garden Containers And Planted Steps

This is a sweet temporary idea.
Very Cute.

I love these heads filled with succulents and flowers.

In the right place.....cute.

Bicycle planters - one of my faves.

I have done this filled with orchids is pots in an old L.V. suit case.

I think these cork containers are
without question my favorites from the lot-

I would only like the wall covered in pots in terracotta.
....and brimming with green or flowers.

Too tedious for me.

I think I would like to try this at my Mom's in Maine....
but in stone.
I will be there on June 6th till.....

Have a great day!!

Which did you like best??

  1. Renee, I agree with everything. I love the "tree trunk" planters. I am not at all shabby chic so some of this doesn't do it for me. I am awaiting word on your mother, so please let me know how she is. Sending love to both of you....

  3. I think that in a "whimsical" garden some of these planted pots would look good. For the most part, though, I'm pretty old-fashioned when it comes to pots. I like my plants potted in terracotta or urns (metal or cement). I prefer a formal or country garden to a whimsical one.

  5. Renee, you can imagine I would love this post! The flowering heads are great...and the cork pots ......look like logs, to me? Beautiful. All the containers have their bit of charm, depending on who loves them and where they are being used....there is no wrong way, in my opinion! N.xo

Now I know what to do with the portrait bust I messed up, lol! Put a wig of greenery on it!
