This historic building is in Barcelona and built in 1904,
by Domenec Boada.
The stained glass in the first two images I adore.
I think the design work in this luxury apartment is outstanding.
I am loving the broad striped walls.
I love the kitchen as well.
Small but efficient .
An upholstered screen separates the dining area from the kitchen.
Clever and stylish.
And i like the mantel very much.
The bedroom is masculine and architectural.
This guest room is stunning.....
BUT
I am not sure if the walls are upholstered or papered .
YOU TELL ME???
Very interesting post! Great pictures and tons of details to take in! I've always wanted to visit Barcelona…maybe one day! I personally think the walls are papered but I could be so wrong! Let us know! Thanks for sharing this!

the more i look at it.....
ReplyDeleteit has got to be wall-covering - 'paper'
;)
I can't tell, but I love this apartment, Renee! The divider is a great idea, and I love the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to do some walls in stripe!
Happy Wednesday.

What an amazing space! I do like that kitchen a lot, even though I tend to gravitate toward more traditional design. But, there's something about that space that's very appealing. Would love to go to Barcelona. One day...
ReplyDeleteHope you are well, my friend!
What a beautiful home. I love how "strong" it all feels, possibly masculine, but maybe not..I think it's wallpaper, since the light over the painting is not revealing the texture behind the hung picture- my guess!
ReplyDeleteTake care.

Absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeleteCan you just imagine going on a date with the homeowner (I'll assume he's a single male...) and him inviting you in to "see his place"?
That stained glass is beyond fabulous! Thanks for the treat....
