'Paint Your Wagon'

Or Not.......
These look sooooo great painted and filled with flowers in your yard.
I used one of these at the entrance of a clients home filled with the flowers of the season.
It was a huge hit.
At Halloween , Pumkins.

This is perfect for an area of the yard that is bald (too bare) or
you need to hide something that is an eye-sore. I am Huge on hiding eyesores.

Things that solve 'THE UGLY PROBLEMS' in life, are actually
the real jewels of design.

Believe me, I could go on and on about that.
And I am not talking about home issues,
more like ' people issues.'
The wagon size is 26"W x 38"H x 72"L which means you can HIDE quite a few ...

Away From It All

I Vant To Be Alone.......

So what about this for starters ?

Ahhhhh...... Al Fresco.
Perfect.

This is exactly what I was hoping for ......

but I spy more than one chair at that table.

And I said , " I Vant To Be Alone ! "

As much as we design bloggers are always in search of the Chic, or the

‘Fine & and Fabulous.'

There is something to be said of a week ( or 48 hours ) spent away from all of our trappings.

And they are trappings.

I would love to be washing up at this sink, with the little mirror hung on the rugged wall,
or tree trunk, or whatever it is .

It is beautiful, all the textures are beautiful.

The lighting is just the way an early morning sun would be.

I am certain that there would no electricity,
which means I would be living by beautiful golden candle light
from dusk till dawn. YUM

Now, If only I could really paint !!!

Likoma Island /lee-koh-ma/ is a small island in Lake Malawi in East Africa, not too far off the coast of Mozambique.
"No running water, no electricity, no mosquitoes, no malaria. Take the boat on Tuesday nights."

Curious ?

Sealyham Terriers Make Much better Dinner Guests

Sealyham Terriers

These Little People
are just happy to be happy .

These are the little people
I will have to my next dinner party
after last night's party fiasco.

Have you ever been trapped in your own house with an unreasonable dinner guest ?
An unreasonable drunk ? I know, it may sound harsh.

But sadly, there is no other way to describe the condition.

When a person does or says something that they would not normally do or say
without the wine, or the martini's ( pick your poison ) , not surprisingly, I call that drunk .

This is the time for a Handy-Cam and U-TUBE !!!
I swear, if more individuals had a video of themselves when they were
a bit more than ' TIPSY '.........
there would not be ' so much caution thrown to the wind .'

These once fashionable ( SOBER ) and adorable
( future Dinner Guests )
,
The Sealyham Terriers,
are on the brink of dying out.
But, I can guarantee you, I wouldn't get a sarcastic or hurtful remark from a
Sealyham Terrier if I tried to cut off his milk bones for the night.

Basically , I would just have to .....maybe.......throw his ball a few times ??

Go here to read more to see and read more about The Sealyham Terriers:

A Fireplace , A Friend , And My Dog

Outdoor Fireplaces-

Is An Outdoor Fireplace A Poor Man's Pool ?? ( NYT Pic)
I have a chandelier hanging from a tree over a seating area in my garden/courtyard, I also have a fireplace outside.

When it is dark and cool at night ,
I light a lot of tea lights and I place them all over the garden.

Then I get the fireplace going, I curl up with something warm to sip on
and listen to music while starring up into the sky.
Imagine...this sky is a clear midnight blue,

and is lit with thousands of tiny shiny stars.
I am not feeling very much like 'a poor man' in a moment like that !

I think these difficult times in our economy will bring a lot of what is supposed to be important, to the forefront in our relationships , and in society.

I am hoping that what is of real value ( and I mean that in the truest sense of the word )
will begin to fuse with our consciousness and our unconscious selves.

I am not judging, this is my observation.
I personally have started on my own journey of adjustments , both financial and emotional .
