Nor' Easter In Maine - I Can't Take This Anymore !

 

This is like living in a mini hurricane during winter.

 

It's crazy.

But it is dramatic and beautiful in it's own way.

 

Again...CRAZY. 

I am from NYC & Miami Beach.

This is amazing.

FUN - NO, IT'S NOT.

 

The streets are treacherous.

 

I must say to someone from my background....

this is beautiful.

BUT

It causes electric outages all over the place.

Which is no fun !!!!!!!!!!!

                                         

 

See what I mean.....

it is pretty.

 

Let's just talk about the cars...

They get frozen over.

Just try and open the car door to get in.

NO LUCK.

I hope you are not late for work.

I was !

 

SOON

I will be back where I do belong.

Home in Palm Beach County.

Is this gorgeous or what ?

 

I can hardly wait !!!! 

Pray for me that everything goes smoothly with my new condo in West Palm Beach Florida.

I need to be home again.

Vitamin D...PLEASE.

It doesn't seem to me

that this would be a place for me.

Call me crazy (many do ) 

but this is not a place where vitamin D is everywhere.

It's actually no-where.

 

And what I never realized was this....

There is no Vitamin D here for about 9 months.

 

Vitamin D is important, yes.

But

just the view of  desolation in your everyday experience is overwhelming.

Yes

I am consumed by the depressing aspect of a cold desolate winter.

Frankly

I wouldn't send my worst enemy here.

Oh...come to think of it...

yes I would.

                                                 Please let this be my very last winter in Maine.

What can I say?

Besides the one certain fact that my words and feelings have been strangled by the fact that I have had to 'live' here in Rockland Maine close to my Mum.

It has been the worst time of my life….here. 
Not the time spent with my MUM, 
That has been magical

                   I came here to heal wounds with my mother.

My sweet mother.

It tears me apart that I am leaving her, not that I am leaving Maine.

I wish her to move with me , but she loves it here.

I have no future here.

She can not see that.

There is no design work for me here.

....And frankly the design here is not up to my standards.

Every job I applied for with my resume.....and you know my resume....

was NEVER considered.

You must be BORN here to be accepted . Period.

I just don't fit in.

And just let me say, it is not a tribe I would ever want to be associated with.

 I am going home!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can barely breath I am so excited.
