The Pope's NEW LID

Whom Ever Wears The Hat Best.....

Just might be the new POPE.
They only have about 20 days to choose.
Below I have given you a few of the top contenders-
and left out anyone in their 80's.
A Pope in the 1970's made some sort of ruling that 80 was too old.
{I agree}

The Lid

I have paint shopped the Pope's Hat
on a few of the men in the running.
Here we go.....

# 1
He looks really nice ,
perhaps even funny.
I love funny.

#2
So 'COOL'
He's at the beach trying on the hat.

#3
The North American - Canadian Favorite
He wanted to be very formal when he tried on the hat.

 #4
{he would have my vote if I could vote}
I looked at quite a few pictures of this man and studied his face.
He looks warm and seems to be laughing & schmoozing
a great deal.

You can see he's already ditching the old hat
in favor of the ever fabulous POPE'S LID!!

Go Lenny!!! Go Lenny!!!

Which Holy Man Would You Pick???

Tomorrow I start my new job.....
at last.

xx

  1. Oh Renee,
and you went to Saint Annes too.
I want Cardinal Ouellet from Canada
to be the next Pope. This was a funny post.
We will have to wait for the smoke signal.

  4. I don't know anything about any of them, but it would be nice for someone from our part of the world to take a turn, so maybe the Canadian. I hope you have a great first day at your new job!

  7. Congratulations on your birthday and your new job!!! As for the Pope, I have to think about it a bit more, I hope that whoever it is is open minded and willing to have a little change in the church. Don't get me wrong, I am Catholic and very traditional but I think people are leaving the church in droves, and not just because of the abuse scandal, and I think that we need to look at why and perhaps make a few changes.

Have a great day at your new job!
