While I don't know what went on in their marriage, from the outside it seems that Katie did the right thing and is most likely in a better place. Tom is not a favorite of mine in any way. You rock, Katie!

I see him as a bit of a sad figure. He obviously has a weak nature to get so embroiled in Scientology. These are not strong minded individuals, just the opposite, constantly seeking approval and affirmation. She must have been at a bit of a low ebb herself. It obviously didn't further her career to be with him. My guess is she will grow from this, same as Nichole Kidman did when she dumped his sorry arse. Poor Tom, cute on the outside, crazy on the inside! I have loads more I could say about Scientology, but I think we all know :-)

Never been a big Tom fan but kudos to her for being strong and recognizing a toxic relationship and knowing it wasnt a good thing for their daughter.......he's just an oddball and these pics give me the creeps. Glad Katie "got away"!

I can't imagine what she went through in that marriage, but I think she most likely was protecting her daughter from Tom and Scientology... Saying that, I'm concerned for little Suri in the future. Although you can't believe what you read, my understanding is that Tom has turned his children with Nicole Kidman against her. Isn't it strange that you never see either of them with their children? That was, most likely, a motivator for Katie to leave.

She never saw his manipulation coming. That is why he dates young girls/women. A mature woman wouldn't stand for that bull. I think the pictures are a promo for an upcoming film. Probably the one he was making while she was planning her escape.
