Alsace, France - Petite Venice

You know.....sometimes it is hard to come up with a fab post.
So.....I was surfing around and found a link that sounded intriguing

It all started with this link;

After I had collected so many pics....
and was saying to myself;
"I am not into this"
but it was too late.
I am on a tight time schedule.
I am at work and trying to attract new design clients.

This is where the little Venice is.
Gotta' tell ya'....
I am not into October fest!
And this part of France,
by the lack of perhaps one Village Up-Rising is French
instead of German.
I am not into COO COO Clocks or German village architecture.

But ,
I know more than a few of you will like this.
Hey!
Millions go to Disney World every year.
And it doesn't look too different than this.

I know I sound  SNARKY.
I am under a bit of pressure.

I am now wearing my 'nite gard'
during the day to keep from grinding my teeth to smither-reens.
Kidding.

But, I am tense.

SEE!
Doesn't that look like Disney?

Maybe I really should go there.....
it's in wine country.
You think I need some?????

I was all but 'October Fest-ed' out by the google images.

Pray for me!!!

hahahahahah
no really, Pray for me!!

  1. It is hard to think like this, but I always try to think of problems I have had in the past and how they work out in time. And at the same time, I am not worse for wear.
Hank in there. We all go through tough times. They help us to appreciate the good times. I just take life a day at the time now.
    Praying for you.

  3. You are in my prayers.

    May I share this:

    Thought for the Day

    January 13

This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one.
    – George Bernard Shaw

All of us have tasted the freedom and happiness that self-forgetfulness brings. In watching a good game of tennis or becoming engrossed in a novel, the satisfaction comes not so much from what we are watching or reading as from the act of absorption itself. For that brief span, our burden of personal thoughts is forgotten. Then we find relief, for what lies beneath that burden is a still, clear state of awareness.

The scientist or the artist absorbed in creative work is happy because she has forgotten herself in what she is doing. But nowhere will you find personalities so joyous, so unabashedly lighthearted, as those who have lost themselves in love for all. That is the joy we glimpse in Saint Francis or Mahatma Gandhi. To look at the lives of men and women like these is to see what joy means.

  6. Renee, sorry to hear you are under pressure. I send you a hug and my best wishes and though this is probably not what you want to hear, when things get bad or I am going through a really tough time, I do try to think about A. how much worse it could be (and there is always a worse scenario) and B. just looking at the world in general, realizing that I am still blessed. Whatever you might be going through in the end WILL make you stronger and there is a silver living in everything, sometimes you need to scratch the surface to find it.....sending you a big hug:)

there is always a worse case scenario....
and last night i walked into it.

but you can't keep me down for long...
if i reach for my higher power long enough
i am miraculously freed from 'self'
and my personal bondage has me no more.

thanks. i think the HUG HELPED!!!

  10. jules.....

yesterday someone told me they were moving to asia
because the states are so awful.
he said that he has already sent his daughter....she loves it.
he said it is so safe.
the best part is; "you can live like a king on peanuts over there"

maybe we can gather up all the peanuts we can find and go as well.
+++do you think we will get extra monetary credit
    if WE qualify as nuts??????????????

    love you xx
