You never get a second chance to make a first impression.
The first thing a guest coming to your home sees is your
entrance foyer.
Right?
Have fun.
Let your entrance foyer say something about you.
It is like a calling card.
Let me know which one you relate to best.
I am always interested to know.
Love the tiny yellow piano.

So many different styles! I'm especially interested in the floors since we're looking for a new one for our foyer. Thanks for the ideas!
ReplyDeleteAll so grand! Makes me want to do something more dramatic with my entry hall. Someday...
ReplyDeleteWe have a weirdo bare red brick floor circa 1972 in our entry. I hate it but to get rid of it means MOTH firing up Big Bertha the Brick Cutter to get the levels right so we can put new flooring down. The knock on effect will be so much brick dust it will land in Florida a few days later in a huge cloud. Oh the things we get ourselves into when we let a Realtor put us into a Buyers trance!

I really love these foyers. Indeed, this area of the house is important especially in giving a first good impression to your visitors. Several homeowners usually put so much attention in improving other areas with the help of home builders Missouri (for instance) such as the kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedrooms and not so much to the entrance foyer. This post will surely inspire readers to also give this area some importance.
