Remember 9 -11 / Sunday 2011

I was watching it on the news.
I saw the whole thing.
My heart was crushed through and through.
I knew instantly ....
it was an act orf war.

I was still in the
"i don't believe this " stage.

Then I saw the second plane use it self as a bomb.
It was too much for me to take in.
I was frightened and when I would talk to people on the street....
they absolutely that I was over reacting.....{10 am }
but by 5pm
the world had gone creazier than me.
go figure!!!

I believe we will never be the same as a country.
And in-spite of all these tragedies....
for a while there
it brought us all as Americans together.
We were unified. It didn't matter if you were  democratic or a republican.
We Were One Nation All On The Same Side.

What do you think?

  1. It is a sad day for our country but in fact the entire world. I pray and remain hopeful for a world of peace, one where we all learn to accept, tolerate and understand one another. My heart is heavy remembering this tragedy, and for all the lost innocent lives and the families left behind dealing with the aftermath and tragedy of losing a loved one.

  2. A day we will never forget. The senseless loss of life breaks our hearts. It's hard to understand how others could commit such an act. Our thoughts are with all those who lost their loved ones.
