Amy is 5'4", slender build, light blonde hair, blue/green eyes.
Her car was found on the side of the road with her purse etc left in the car.

Our dear friend Amy Ahonen has been missing since Friday, July 8th. Her Jeep was found off of Hwy 6 at the 264 mile marker west of Golden, CO with her belongings still inside. If you have any information, please call 720-913-2000.

This is so terrible. Will send the link to my Denver rep. I find myself thinking at times...I could be kidnapped, murdered in this spot and nobody would know... when traveling alone, working late and leaving the office at night,running alone, we are all at risk of such a nightmare. I lived through that terror last fall when my first cousin went missing...and found a week later shot dead with all his belonging stolen out of his car. His wife and son went through the worst possible days of their lives and are still trying to put their lives together.

I am so sorry to hear this - how awful and I can only imagine what her family and friends are going through. I will keep her in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteOh, how horrible, Renee. Those of us who always think the best of every situation can hardly believe, but we know it's true, that terrible things happen in our world. I will pray for her and light a candle. Please let us know if you hear that she is found.

Horrible story...first time I am hearing of it but the last few days have hardly been home long enough to hear any news, first time I am really sitting down to relax for a few min. in a long long time! I so hope that she will be found and will keep her in my prayers.This week there has been some horrible stories in the news, its been a rough week so hoping she is OK!
