the last one please! Happy Easter to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteNo no, I must have the all and more (but I especially love anything with malachite in it). Thanks for raising the bar on this Easter day.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful, I would take the lily of the valley one. Darn 4 days in NYc and I did't get to the Russian Tea Room or the Forbes collection of Fab. Eggs. That was free but only certain hours. Oh well, thank you dear Renee I got to see them now.
ReplyDeleteHappy Bunny Day! Remember your baby chicks?
They are all beautiful works of art
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely exquisite! A Happy Easter...thanks for showing something I have yet to see Renee...have seen every tablescape known to mankind..and have so enjoyed seeing them but this was a real treat!!
ReplyDeleteI had a look at the fabulous book...I love the Lilies of the Valley egg...they're all beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHope you received several pretty ones!
In the early 80s, I worked near the Forbes Magazine headquarters on Fifth Ave that had a museum open to the public. Among other things, there was a remarkable Faberge collection that included nine eggs and 180 other exquisite items. It was wonderful because the exhibits were usually almost deserted and the items could be viewed relatively close up. Just before a 2004 auction, a rich Russian bought the entire Faberge collection to return it to the homeland. __ The Devoted Classicist
