This thanksgiving
I am dealing with
the dinner guests
who do not eat anything
with a FACE.
Hmmmmm.......
But, I am sure the Turkeys are happy about this.
Not me.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends
in the
Blogosphere.

Hello Renee:
ReplyDeleteAt my house, which is a house and not a restaurant with a menu, I serve what I choose to my guests. If they don't want to eat it, so be it. That's their choice, not mine. I will (reasonably) accommodate someone's (real) allergies, but I have no interest in catering to a finnicky eater's dictates. So don't eat it!
There, I got that off my chest. Now I'm off to resume preparing Mark Bittman's brussel sprouts with bacon and figs, part of today's dinner at Darlington House...
Happy Thanksgiving!
HA!!! Renee- you always have the best posts!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh that was funny...
ReplyDeleteThis year we didn't get to have turkey because its just the three of us... me, hubby, and son:) But we celebrated it just the same, so much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving:)
Renee,
ReplyDeleteHope your blessings were to numerous to count. Happy Thanksgiving weekend. Black Friday Shopping in an hour and turkey pot pie with leftovers for this evenings dinner.
Bette
Loved this! We have given up turkey for capon, much more flavor and so much more moist. I do call him Tommy Soprano for making his great sacrifice. I would rather jump out of a plane without a parachute than go shopping on Black Friday!
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays and may the jersey girls stay in jersey.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend, Renee.
