One Image Drew Me In

This one!!!
I loved the settee....
But on further examination...
I found this home interesting because it looked as if
Bonnie & Clyde might be hiding out in it.
*A movie set.

Well...?
Movie set or no?

I want your HONEST opinion....

these rooms were featured in Country Living.

What is your take on this place?
Likie or No Likie???

On weekends they could have 'dust mite' races.

  1. It looks very Nanna's place in the country! We have few homes round here that have that look and feeling. Comfortable, lived in and just slightly old fashioned! I do like it. Renee thank you for visiting if you want to leave me an address I can give you more info on what I am doing and why. It has helped a lot!

  2. Likie...and it makes me think of a bit old country estate...where you might expect to find rooms and furniture like that. I would be happy to relax in that room with a view out to a big old tree and beautiful garden.

    j :)

PS...still trying to track down that chandelier I mentioned...when I do I will let you know. I think you will love it too!

  4. Can envision the dust mites race....I stayed one time at my dad's old nanny's house and woke up covered with flee bites...they had a wonderful supper on my account.....a few too many ruffles for my taste but to each their own...

  6. I like some of the elements...the furniture in the dining area and that black bed...the walls and backgrounds and all those "things"...not so much!

  8. I am bit schizoid on this. I love layering textiles. My first response to any decorating problem is fabric first. I also like stainless/industrial. What to do? What to do?

  10. Yes to that first image. The rest isn't without charm in a shabby chic sort of way. Then we look again and it's not so shabby - and not so chic! Good for a movie set when you're playing someone else!

  12. These designs I believe are coming out of Fredericksberg Texas. I can't recall her name but she's had a large influence on that area with her retail design stores.
