What a 'home!'.
And it shines with his interests and collections.
This is what makes his home beautiful in my eyes.
He has chosen important pieces to adorn his home.
I wouldn't mind an invitation to this dinner table.
Imagine the conversations and deals made here.
The back terrace of his home
is right in the middle of the upper east side of Manhattan.
What do you think about his place???
Would you join M.S. for dinner here if you were invited as Leonardo's dinner date?

Renee:
ReplyDeleteIt looks very traditional style home -- one that I would not have guessed would be his style... I would love to be invited to dinner and dine in that intimate dining room -- Actually when I lived in NY we had a home similar looking attached Town Home but near New Rochelle.
I love the poster hanging in the dining room BELLE.
The court yard is inviting as is the whole house.

I would say yes! Enjoy your weekend! Axx
ReplyDeleteI'll go but as your date!
ReplyDeleteHis rooms remind of a modern day interpretation of Sherlock Holmes' house on Baker Street. Love them!
ReplyDeleteHi precious one, well he's Italian & it looks completely filled to the brim, like all Italian homes...so I love it! And, absolutely I would go to dinner there just to listen & learn what's happening now. xx's Marsha
ReplyDeleteDear Renee,
ReplyDeleteI certainly would like to dine with him there. I like his home as, although I'm sure there are many expensive pieces and the neighbourhood is very expensive, he hasn't made it look over the top and it doesn't sceam money. I would be quite comfortab;e there. XXXX
The yard is just awesome..., and in the middle of NYC! I would live in the big apple anytime..., with a roof top garden, pool and view!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little surprised its so neat, I somehow had the idea that Mr. Scorsese's home would be messy. Film scripts tossed here, clothes tossed there, a desk piled high with stuff - a silly assumption Millie!

hell yes!
ReplyDeletethis is fabulous... very masculine ... did he just invite you for cocktails? next time dinner? can you imagine... wonder if we would ever get a word in... he he
ReplyDeleteI think I actually admire Mr. Scorsese and love his beautiful home, more than his films. When he is interviewed, he is so humble and kind. His home is timeless and I'm not at all surprised by his taste in fine art. A very nice post. Thanks Renee for the tour.
