A French Artist's Studio

How is it ?

Why is it ?

They just can pull it off......with such ease.

Style.
As only the French can do!
I mean this is an artist's studio,
and their living space.
It is divine.
Especially the 1st picture and the last (bedroom).
This is a regular/normal ( as normal as an artist can be) person.

Don't you agree that Jean Paul
from 21 Rue Jacob, Paris Fr.
can pull off something that William Butler
from Little Rock Arkansas can not?

Are you confident
that if you were an artist
with no interior design experience...
that your place would look this cool?

  1. Oh swoon! I would happily live and paint in this wonderful, comfy space. Hear that Santa? I am so lusting for private studio space right now...

  2. Now you're talking my language, Renee. This is so me. Understated with style. I love it.
Jean Paul has that je ne sais quoi that only the French have. Just perfect. XXXX

  3. I've been thinking about painting the sitting room off the kitchen a creamy white. I might just have to. This is devine.

  5. Better spaces to begin with. Better flea markets. Neater stuff in grandmother's, mother's attics. Centuries of great style encoded on DNA. One is a genius and one is not. One is probably a better artist to begin with. And turn it all on its ear, because I do live being held hostage in the midwest, I do believe a light-filled space with soul and heart can be created by true believers anywhere. Either than or just kill me now!

  10. "Are you confident

  11. Hi Renee, lovely place, I agree, and I don't even paint. :) But among the other things I saw and learned was how to spell...
je ne sais quoi, love that word and now I can spell it. That may be one of my best gifts this year. lol Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. http://wwwbeenblogged.blogspot.com/
