A Neat And Tidy Residence In 'The Flower-Box Building'

This apartment is in the 'Flower Box Building' in Manhattan.

The furniture opens and closes back into the walls as if it were a Swiss Army Knife.
"A wall of ivy was planted along the interior balcony that overlooks the living area. Directly below the garden is a shallow, 12-foot-long reflecting pool, where goldfish dart just below the surface."
I am a real sucker when it comes to English Ivy. I think this ivy covered wall, and the indoor pond are just wild, clever, and certainly unexpected. I love love love love it !

If I were a kid living in or visiting this place ... I would be dropping a 'Super Ball' off that kitchen balcony, and bouncing it back up to try and catch it ...and do it all over again.
Does anybody out there in the blog-osphere
remember ' super balls ?'...They would bounce crazy high....

Not to mention , these are polished concrete floors.
Excellent for bouncing a Super Ball.
Come on people, get playful, maybe even a little mischievous.
It will keep you young and happier than you were before the mischief.
Nothing like a good giggle to get the blood flowing in the right direction.

  2. I love that apt! The ivy has the added bonus of being the most air purifying house plant you can own! When I moved into my place, which was new construction, I bought a small topiary of ivy -it did it's job but unfortately absorbed so many of the toxins it DIED! scary! Better it than me!

  4. I adore that fabulous wall of ivy! I had a blue super ball in about 1967. It was the BEST. I haven't thought of them in ages. :^)
