Exposure And Travel Are Vital...

For Re-Fueling Ones Creativity.
Especially if you create for a living.

"Maureen Footer’s travel memories , including colors, culture and architecture influence her designs."

I love love love  this color scheme.  Do You Like It ?

I especially like the collection of identical mirrors grouped together in this way.
Doing something like this can solve a problem...
I have done this before, because I could get my hands on the right piece of art, in exactly the right size.
You can always use the mirrors grouped in a different configuration elsewhere in the house, once you have found the perfect item for over the mantle.
And, if you do not find it , well....
this would remain beautiful & timeless always.

  1. I liked your point about the mirrors above the mantel. I have a lot of mirrors because I am so picky about art - I have to absolutely love a painting to buy it, and often it is not the right size. So, I get mirrors thinking that I will move them when I find 'the' painting, but that never ends up happening!

  5. I absolutely looove the coral color - decided to use that exact tone in the master at our cabin...been living with it for a year and just can't get comfy with it. I started painting over it last week. ;(

  6. I don't envy the person who hung these mirrors either, a nightmare but brilliant effect. xv
