The Last Surviving FERRY From ELLIS ISLAND.....IS NOW A HOME

Registered as an historical vessel with the National Register of Historical Places, The Yankee is a truly special piece of New York history that we are incredibly grateful to still have, and to see in good hands.

If I were REALLY COOL

and had the money....

or knew how to 'find' the money.....

I would want to do this.

{but differently}

I would want to save the last ferry {the YANKEE}

and 

turn it into a home.

But,

I would want to lose the seats on either side of the main salon.

Can we really call it a 'SALON?'

In fact I would do everything differently.....

Don't you wonder if it were your grandparents or great grandparents 

that took this very ferry from Ellis Island.

'THE YANKEE'.

You could find out if you really wanted to.

Well ...if they did come over on this ferry...
