A Creative Couple In Park Slope

Brooklyn

Both are designers.

This is there fabulous home in Brooklyn.
She is a jewelry designer and he is a sculptor
I have their links at the bottom of this post.

These pillows have hand sewn leaves on each pillow.
Each pillow has a different variety of leaf on it.
Pretty fabulous.
And I dig the cocktails too.

This bathroom is so NYC with the pedestal sinks.
LOVE all in this room-

  1. I like that its elegantly funky..you can tell artsy people live there..but there are classic elements (like the pedastal sinks) the guest room is so cozy...looks like a beautiful yachts bedroom for some reason, the kitchen is fun with those sky high shelves, and that loft space in the living room is whimsical and fun and shows their vitality and youthfulness (hey age is sooo a state of mind) Love the facade as well....its a great space...only in New York!

  4. Visually very appealing. One pet gripe - I would want to test drive the sinks. When you bend down to wash your face, does your forehead hit the glass shelf? I've come across this problem so often...!

  5. Where do I start with what I like about this home???

Let me see, the white collage above the fireplace, the lumps of timber in the living room as seating/tables, the chunky timber dining table, the timber beams, the fact that there is something interesting wherever the eye looks.

Lots to like ~ it is full of personality.

  6. my fave columnist,
    ya know.....
you must be tall and handsome man,
    because
    i... being 5'1" on a good day
    would never hit my forehead.

but i take your point and will keep that in mind when i use this application in a bathroom for anyone over 5'2"

    love xxx

  12. I love the simple practicality of the kitchen and the beautiful sculpture of a double old sink. This home is thoughtful and serene with a that darling munchkin to add the right amount of spice.

  13. I love it. I've been meaning to get back to my computer and see it better then on my phone. I reminds me of Jeanne d'Arc Living a little just more modern.

  14. It has an open and light feeling but also tight (meaning squished small).
Love the puppy at the table!

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
