Chris Barrett Designs

I am loving this.
If walked by a cafe that looked like this................
I would have to dine there.
So stylish.....and with an attitude.

The images in this post are from Chris Barrett's website.

I think her work is outstanding.
Not to mention she can do contemporary/industrial design, which I adore.
And Miss Barrett does traditional with a bang as well.

Why do I love black and white floors?

.....and black and white piano's?

I love the kitchen and the breakfast nook.

The subway tile in the bath is fab.
I want to just soak in this tub.
Don't you?
Have you ever wondered
why every tub doesn't have center mounted faucets????

Which is your favorite image and why???

  3. I could make that top bistro image my home. Why? Maybe I'm just too lazy to roam past the threshold. I always want to whole wide world to come wandering in my front door.

I want to people watch and ease drop, and learn something new, everyday while being completely camouflaged in a crowd.

I am the home bound "Dorthy Parker".

    Cheers!...to another round.

  5. Renee,
It is so difficult to choose a picture but I think the one with the beach house living room is my favorite! I always have loved white covered seats. And the bowed window-doors are just stunning.
I also love the shape of the chimney!
I go to visit Chris Barrett websit right now!

About Renée Finberg

I have been in this business since the age of 22.

I love what I do and cannot imagine my life without Design.

Design Challenges are great.

And because of those challenges

I have imported fine antique pieces from Paris,

Designed and Manufactured Furniture,

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
