‘Alice in Wonderland’

is being remade by Tim Burton. Who has once again
partnered with Johnny Depp and
Helena Bonham Carter.
I can hardly wait.

But, I thought it was the end of Smurf Blue eye shadow. Or at least I was praying hard that it would be !
Yet it is quite effective in this application as seen here on Helena Bonham Carter. I must say I have never seen it being effective on anyone else,
unless of course it is Halloween.
The super fabulous Johnny Depp, he grew up in Margate Florida. Margate is west of Pompano Beach , which is the next town north of Ft Lauderdale.
In case you were wondering, which you probably weren't ....but, oh well. There it is anyway.
Mia Wasikowska will play Alice.
The sets are going to be delicious to my eye. I am excited , I feel like a kid just thinking about it.
I loved the original 'Alice in Wonderland'. But, this one is
going to be 'art'.

Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum

Are you just a little excited to see this film ?

  2. Oh Renee. I can't wait to see Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland. It looks brilliant. And the sets look amazing. A bit " Miss Havasham " as I was talking about in my last post.Matt Lucas, who is a British comedian, plays Tweedledum AND Tweedledee. I wonder what Tim Burton, Helena Bonham-Carter and Johnny Depp will think of doing next? Do you think that they will make any films without each other???!!!! He He.Terrific pictures although, I have one little critisism just to be picky. I think Johnny Depp looks really good as The Mad Hatter but I think he look a bit too much like Willie Wonka or am I being too critical ? XXXX

  10. I am looking forward to seeing this movie on dvd... will not be paying to see this in a theatre. This is NOT the way I like to see Johnny Depp... bring out another film like Chocolat, Mr. Depp!

  11. I always wanted to (re)direct that and oh he has,

I must admit, I'm young still and have to give kudos to his set designer, my visuals were a tad different and less soft-focused. Which is why us filmmakers need to hire people like you, non?

  12. Yes that looks so amazing with those costumes (where do you find this stuff?),

I wondered which photo you'd pick for your sidebar! That is a very cool example of a lacquered high-gloss look!

Created Fantastic Window Treatments,

And solved all kinds of spatial & architectural issues

With my unique style.

If I can't find it, I create it.

My rooms would make excellent movie sets.

I am a visual, tactile and audio sensitive individual.

Creating is what I live for, not math, not spelling, not science.

Just Great Design.

Just imagine how it would be if each of us,

If only for a few hours of everyday,We could be in a space that is our very own.A place that is exactly the way we want it to be

Surrounded by all the things we wanted to see,

The atmosphere we wanted feel, smell and the sound we wanted to listen to.
